Privacy Policy — Aerogram

Aerogram is a weather-reference app that supports flight planning. We collect as little as possible.

1. We do not collect personal data

The app does not ask for your name, email, registration, or login. There are no user accounts.

2. Data the app uses

• Anonymous device identifier: a random code generated on your device (stored securely on the device itself), used only to track the free monthly quota on the server. It is not linked to your identity.
• Location (optional): if you allow it, it is used only to show the wind ahead at your position. It is not stored or associated with you. You may deny the permission and the app still works.
• Route data: the airport codes (ICAO), level, and times you type are sent to the weather providers to fetch the flight information. These are not personal data.

3. Third-party services

To produce the weather products, the app (through our server) queries: autorouter.aero (METAR/TAF/NOTAM and routing), Open-Meteo / NOAA GFS (weather model), Deutscher Wetterdienst (MOSMIX), Aviation Weather Center (SIGMET), and Google Gemini (AI briefing text). Only the route/coordinate data needed for the query is sent — never personal data. Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store / Google Play and managed by RevenueCat with an anonymous identifier.

4. Retention

The (anonymous) quota counter is kept only as long as needed for usage control and expires on its own after inactivity.

5. No tracking and no ads

We do not use third-party analytics, show ads, or sell or share your data for commercial purposes.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

7. Security

Communication with the server uses HTTPS.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest revision.
